Monitoring

Aptem’s products are not affected by the critical PHP security issue flagged by the National Cyber Security Centre (NCSC) yesterday.

PHP isn’t part of the technology stack behind Aptem Apprentice, Aptem Employ, Aptem Skills or Aptem Assess, or any of their supporting components. There’s no impact on the Aptem platform, and customers don’t need to take any action in relation to Aptem.

Third-party service update

NCFE (Skills Forward), one of our integration partners, has temporarily taken its Skills Assessment and Booking Service offline as a precaution while it applies and validates a security update. NCFE (Skills Forward) has said there is no evidence that its systems have been compromised or that customer data has been accessed.

While these services are offline, learners won’t be able to complete skills assessments through the NCFE (Skills Forward) integration. Everything else in Aptem works as normal. NCFE (Skills Forward) will restore access as soon as possible, and we’ll update this page when it does.

If you have any questions, please speak to your Customer Success Manager or contact hello@aptem.co.uk.
